As you all are aware of, the Covid-19 virus- the pathogen of the century is creating havoc across the globe affecting close to 200,000 people in over 180 countries with the death toll reaching 6000 and climbing rapidly. In the USA test which all states except West Virginia affecting 2700+ from less than 500 a week ago with more than 50 deaths in our own state of Illinois V already have more than 70 cases, it is expected to reach its peak in the next 2-3 weeks and will start hopefully abating in the following 4 weeks China, where it all started, is reporting only 10-20 new cases a day.

We at the Woodridge clinic are committed to following the latest developments and recommendations from the Centers for disease control and prevention(CDC) and Illinois Department of Public Health and other key health organizations.

There are some common-sense tips for preventing the spread of illness

  1. Social distancing: avoid close contact with the people who are at risk
  2. Not touching the eyes nose and mouth
  3. Wash hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. One can also use Alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% of alcohol
  4. Clean and disinfect frequently the objects and surfaces in your home and workplace such as phones, remote controls, door handles, etc.
  5. Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue and dispose of it in the trash or best cough into your elbow.

All 3 of our locations are open to serve you. If you are feeling well, we want you to continue your appointments and procedures as regularly scheduled.

If you are exhibiting respiratory illness such as cough or cold, runny nose, sore throat, fever, difficulty in breathing and flu-like symptoms, please call us in advance so we can arrange a visit with some protocols that we have implemented to prevent the spread of the disease.
